It’s easy to get fixated on interviewer feedback.

Ever went to an interview where you were told that you are not good enough?

I bet! Since that happens quite a lot. All those ‘passes’ can cast a serious toll on your confidence, emotional and sometimes even physical state.

So it’s super important to learn how not to get fixated on that feedback and manifest your frustration in a healthy way (not like Sam did).

Here are a few simple tips to help you cope with those post-interview blues:

  • Acknowledge that it’s okay to be upset, but don’t let the negative feelings overtake you!
  • Remember: if you didn’t fit for a position, it doesn’t mean you are not good enough.
  • Quit overanalyzing and rewinding that job interview over and over again in your head, trying to figure out what you should or should not have said.

Instead of fixating on the feedback, review your resume once again and think of the new accomplishments and “bragging rights” to add to it.
